TRUTHS LEARNED THROUGH THE EYE OF A STORM: HUGO MADE ME A DAN FILLED WITH WISDOM

The Storms in our lives are not always and will not only be due to natural causes. The Storms in our lives will often times be self initiated beginning within, then pouring outward onto the lives of others. Many storms are due to an individuals possessions and status in society. While having fame, riches, nice clothes, fancy cars and mansions are good things to have, yet being heartless and selfish makes the aforementioned irrelevant.

"GOD has nothing against anyone of us having fancy cars, name brand clothing/shoes, mansions and fame, GOD has a problem when those things possess us instead of us possessing them!"-Bishop VTC. The items we own does not make us who we are. It's the core of our character that eventually is exposed, displays our true selves. None of our possessions can cover up the real person inside- that which resonates within our heart.

The practice of attraction to one another based on material possessions, accomplishments and popularity means nothing when not followed with good character. As quick as you are liked for the aforementioned, is as quick as you can be disliked because of poor character. Getting to know someone for who they really are saves all the trouble of becoming disappointed and diminishes the reason of placing unrealistic expectations on each other.

Everyone has flaws whether they admit to it or not! Repeat everyone one of US has a flaw or rather flaws! Acknowledge that & Attempt to fix it if it will work in a positive light throughout your life. Don't run from it, but be quick to point it out on others. Self-Examination on a regular bases, leads to a more meaningful and fulfilling life. No greater feeling is there when we can be honest with our selves and be our first critic. Don't be afraid of who you see in the mirror and instead embrace who you see and seek GODs guidance to make it a better picture!
